Designer Notes
Breath In performs best when given visual space. Surrounding it with clean architectural lines and natural materials allows the circular form to become the room's quiet focal point. White oak, maple, walnut, limestone, linen, plaster, and soft neutral fabrics all reinforce its contemplative character.
Because the composition is built around a single expanding spiral, avoid placing it near visually busy patterns or highly textured feature walls. Instead, let negative space become part of the experience. Viewers should have enough distance—roughly 1.5 to 2 times the width of the artwork—to appreciate both the overall geometry and the fine granular detail.
