Recommended Frame

  • Thin black or dark wood gives an excellent gallery appearance.

  • Can be with or without 1” border and maintain integrity.

  • Acrylic frameless is also stunning.

Recommended lighting

Primary choice: narrow-beam picture light or adjustable track spotlight

  • 3000K–3200K warm white

  • CRI 90+, preferably 95+

  • 25°–35° beam angle

  • Aim from approximately 30° above and slightly to one side

  • Keep the illumination fairly concentrated on the artwork

  • Use low to moderate intensity rather than flooding the piece
